Pine Street School

Pine Street School, located in the heart of New York City at 25 Pine St., is the city's only IB World School offering a unique dual language immersion program in Spanish and Mandarin for children aged 1 to 14 years. Serving a student body of 200, Pine Street School emphasizes small class sizes with a maximum of 18 students per class and an average of just 12, ensuring personalized attention and a nurturing learning environment.

At Pine Street School, the dual language immersion approach allows both native Spanish or Mandarin speakers and native English speakers to retain and develop their primary language skills while acquiring native-like proficiency in a second language. Each classroom is facilitated by two teachers, one for English and one for either Spanish or Mandarin, creating an immersive bilingual educational setting.
