Afterschool care

 

BCIS Phuket offers a wide range of after-school care and extracurricular activities to support students' holistic development. The After-School Care program provides a safe and engaging environment for children to stay beyond regular school hours, supervised by teacher assistants. Extracurricular options include sports academies such as the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) Football Academy, swimming, gymnastics, and skiing, alongside dance classes and fitness sessions for parents. These programs foster essential life skills like teamwork, leadership, and resilience while promoting fitness and creativity. Available exclusively to BCIS students, activities are fee-based and require advance registration, with limited slots allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The diverse offerings aim to nurture both personal and academic growth in a vibrant community setting.

 

 

School Bus

BCIS Phuket provides a dedicated school bus service for students from Year 1 to Year 13, offering a secure and reliable transportation option between home and school. Early Years students are required to be dropped off and picked up by an adult. The service operates with minibuses equipped with compulsory seatbelts for all passengers, and each bus has a monitor to ensure student safety and proper conduct during transit.

Service Details:

  • Pick-up Time: Between 6:30 am and 7:00 am
  • Departure Time: Between 3:30 pm and 3:45 pm

Fees:

  • Rawai / Chalong: THB 1,350 per week
  • Phuket Town / Cape Panwa / Cherngtalay / Patong / Kamala / Kata / Karon: THB 1,650 per week

Billing is conducted monthly, and any cancellation of the service requires a one-week advance notice.

Utilizing the school bus service not only ensures student safety but also contributes to reducing traffic congestion and emissions around the school during peak hours.

Meals

The school provides freshly prepared, balanced meals crafted by chefs and nutritionists to cater to diverse dietary needs. Menus rotate on a four-week cycle and include local and international dishes, fresh fruits, and vegetables. Tailored options are available for allergies or medical conditions, coordinated with the school nurse. Both campuses also feature Nature cafeterias offering drinks, juices, and bakery items from 8 am to 5 pm on weekdays.

Uniform

Wearing a uniform is mandatory, promoting equality, discipline, and a sense of community among students. Uniforms help reduce social pressures and simplify daily routines for families. Students are required to keep their uniforms clean and maintain natural hair colors, avoiding excessive jewelry, makeup, or accessories. On PE days, the designated PE uniform is mandatory.

Applicants for employment are required to provide accurate information about their employment history and certifications, and must be willing to undergo rigorous child protection screening, including checks with past employers.

Admissions

Process

BCIS Phuket offers a streamlined admissions process for prospective students:

  1. Initial Inquiry: Contact the admissions office via phone or email to express interest and receive detailed information about the school’s programs and community.

  2. Campus Visit: Schedule a tour to explore the facilities, meet faculty, and gain insight into the school's environment.

  3. Application Submission: Complete and submit the application form along with required documents, such as academic records and identification.

  4. Assessment and Interview: Prospective students may undergo assessments to evaluate academic readiness, followed by an interview to discuss goals and expectations.

  5. Decision and Enrollment: Upon acceptance, families receive an offer letter outlining enrollment steps, including fee payment and completion of necessary forms.

 

Fees

 

BCIS Phuket's admissions fees for the 2024–2025 academic year are as follows:

  • Registration Fee: THB 10,000 for the first year; THB 5,000 annually thereafter.
  • Entrance Fee: THB 75,000 (one-time, non-refundable).
  • Deposit: THB 50,000 (refundable upon withdrawal, subject to conditions).

Tuition fees vary by year group, ranging from THB 267,120 for Nursery–Reception to THB 441,910 for Years 10–13. The fees include tuition, lunch, and library access. Additional charges may apply for items such as Cambridge resources, school books, uniforms, transportation, extracurricular activities, and examination fees. A sibling discount is available: 5% for the second child and 10% for the third child. Billing occurs per term, three times a year. Scholarships

French students or those with at least one French parent enrolled at BCIS Phuket may apply for school scholarships through the social services of the French Embassy in Bangkok. These scholarships, awarded based on financial need, are not guaranteed and are subject to approval by the Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE).
