Established in 1970 primarily to serve the evangelical Christian missionary community in the Kansai region, KCS has a long-standing tradition of providing a Biblically-based education. With an enrolment of just 35 students, the school boasts an intimate educational experience, featuring small class sizes that average only 6 students per class and max out at 12. This setup allows for personalized attention and a tailored educational approach for each student.
The curriculum at KCS is rooted in American educational standards, carefully designed to prepare students not only for college but also for a life of Christian service. The school holds a biblical view of life, considering God's truth to be the essence of all knowledge. This belief forms the cornerstone of the school's teachings and contributes to a nurturing home-like atmosphere. KCS places significant emphasis on parental involvement, recognizing that guardians are ultimately responsible for their children's education, thus, it functions in close cooperation with parents to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational journey for every learner.
