Jakarta Intercultural School, situated in the vibrant city of Jakarta, Indonesia, has a rich history dating back to its establishment in 1951 by UN workers. Originally known as the Joint Embassy School (J.E.S.), it was created to provide quality English-language education for the children of expatriates in Indonesia. Over the years, the school evolved, adopting the name Jakarta International School in 1978 and later becoming Jakarta Intercultural School in 2014.
